| Acquisition Focus: | Records generated by the general administrative body of the Dominican Sisters,and the ministries undertaken by the Sisters since 1867. | ||
| Privacy Audit: | The Congregation's
archival holdings include no files relating to the professional history
of staff members of Colleges and Schools currently sponsored, or previously
administered by the Dominican Sisters of Eastern Australia. Similarly,
the Congregation does not hold personal records of past or present students
of these institutions. There are limited records, in the form of enrolment registers, and some photos, for St Mary's Elm Court, Moss Vale, All Hallows College Bathurst and School for Deaf Girls Waratah. |

| Mission: | The archives
exist for a) the preservation and conservation of the records of the Dominican Sisters accumulated in the practice of their ministries, and the development of the Congregation; b) provision of an information service; c) promotion of the work of the congregation; d) ongoing sharing of the broad and ancient Dominican Story. |
