AUSTRALIAN FOUNDATIONS

Our Story
- Australian Foundations -

Australian Foundations LogoThe Federation of Dominican Sisters of Australia was formed in 1988.

The members of the Federation are:

  • Dominican Sisters of Eastern Australia and Solomon Islands

  • Dominican Sisters of North Adelaide
    PO Box 394, North Adelaide SA 5006
  • Dominican Sisters of Western Australia
    St Catherine's Convent, Williamstown Road, Doubleview WA 6018

The Dominican Sisters in New Zealand are closely associated with the Federation and attend meetings.

Other Dominican Sisters in Australia are:

  • The Missionary Sisters of the Rosary (Pamplona Sisters) - Darwin
  • Dominican Sisters of Malta - Sydney and Melbourne
  • Congregation of St Rose of Lima (XUAN HIEP) - East Melbourne
  • Dominican Sisters of St Cecilia (Nashville Tennessee USA) - Sydney
  • Conventual Sisters of St Dominic - Diocese of Wagga Wagga, NSW

The Asia Pacific Region of the Dominican Order includes Dominican sisters, friars and laity from Australia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Timor and Vietnam.
