Dominican Volunteer Support Group
 The aims of the group include:
- providing
opportunity for potential volunteers to find out more
about:
- the
Solomon Islands country and culture
- the
ministry of Dominicans in the Solomon Islands
- their
own gifts/skills that could be shared with the
Solomon Island people
- enabling
Australian Sisters and Solomon Island Sisters:
- to
clarify what are the priorities in ministry/projects
to which volunteers could contribute
- to
form partnerships with other agencies sending volunteers,
e.g. PALMS, Edmund Rice Centre, Dominican Volunteers International.
In recent years a number of volunteers have given of their time to work
with our Sisters in the Solomon Islands.
